Cervical spondylosis is age-related wear in the neck. It can cause neck pain, headaches, stiffness and sometimes tingling down the arm. Posture, phone and TV habits and pillow height all play a role, and physiotherapy addresses each of these.

  • Improves neck movement
  • Relieves arm tingling from nerve irritation
  • Strengthens deep neck and shoulder muscles

Common questions

Should I wear a cervical collar?+

Only for short periods if advised. Long-term collar use weakens neck muscles.

Can cervical spondylosis cause dizziness?+

It can contribute to giddiness in some people. Dizziness has many causes, so it is assessed carefully before treatment.
